Today, we are defining and discussing warfare as it applies in every day life and zoning in on spiritual warfare as it relates to the disciple. The Academy of Jesus Christ as an institution exists to equip disciples as spiritual warriors. Everyone needs to know and understand the fundamentals of warfare so that they will be able to stand in the evil day (Eph. 6:11) – right now, we are in the evil day. Every disciple needs to constantly strive to be better and become wise and proficient in the things that God has called them to do. The scripture teaches us that “iron sharpens iron…” Prov. 27:17, therefore in order to stay sharp (and get sharper) we need to rub shoulders with those who are like-minded and focused on the target.

Dr. Ravi Zacharias and Abdu Murray give an exceptional discourse on the trend of post truth culture that is pervading the world today. They define and examine the post truth rise in modern times, and give a synopsis of its salient principles. They then compare it to God’s standard and traditional values of truth, outlining the eventual effects of each doctrine.

Every believer ought to become knowledgeable and skillful in the use of words in order to navigate his/her daily walk. More importantly, we need to become intimate with the word of God as our primary source, weapon and sustenance. Do meditate on this teaching.

What is Calling
